Program Content:
The Summer Leisure Program is an all day summer program for children entering grades 1-8 in the fall of 2026. A great way to go on field trips, beach trips, play games and do arts and crafts. Theme days are a big hit in the summer along with the annual Talent Show! Don’t miss out!
Registration Information:
- Walk-in registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 4:00 PM, at 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
- Online and walk-in registration is available beginning at 8:45 AM on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026 for Residents and Non-Residents on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 and will continue until the sites are full.
Requirements:
- Entering Grade 1-8 in the fall of 2026
- Participants should wear appropriate attire. Sneakers are preferred.
- Participants should bring a water bottle, lunch and snack.
Fees:
Payment in full must be received prior to the start of the program. Financial Aid is available for qualified households. Forms are located on the Recreation/HYCC websites or at the front desk of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center.
Schedules:
Monday- Friday, June 29 - August 14, 2026 ( No program July 4). 8:30-AM- 4:30 PM.
A field trip and beach trip schedule will be sent out prior to the start of the program.
A weekly schedule including theme days will be handed out on Friday Afternoons for the following week. Recreation staff will contact participants for any changes to the program.
Refund Policy:
Prior to the start of the program, refunds will be given minus a $10 Administration Fee. Refunds are not issued on or after the start of the program.
