An option for a Waitlist feature within an Advanced Activity.
Advanced Activities do not have an automatic waitlist the way Standard Activities and Team Sports do. When conditions for an activity require that an Advanced Activity be used (such as multiple pricing options) the best solution to a waitlist feature is to Clone the activity you will be accepting registrations for.
Then, change the title of that cloned activity to include WAITLIST in the title and change all fees associated with this newly cloned waitlist activity to $0 so that individuals are not charged when adding themselves.
This newly created "Free Waitlist Activity" should remain hidden from public/management view, clicking the green check marks to make them red x's - until the original activity that is accepting real registrations and collecting fees has filled.
Once that original class has filled - you will need to manually hide that from public view (once again, selecting the green check mark and making it a red x) and navigate to the "Waitlist Activity" and make it visible for Public & Management to enroll people into. In the event a spot opens up in the real class - you would perform the transfer process to finalize the customer's registration into the class and collect payment.
