Example for an Advanced Activity with Payment Plan Pricing Options

You should always have matching pricing options when using payment plans. Meaning you have a Non-Payment Plan option and a Payment Plan option. This not only gives the customer the option to pay in full for their activity if they would rather but also gives you as a managment side user the option to enroll someone into a month/week (depending on pricing option interval using) after your deadlines for when a payment comes out. 
  • For example, someone may be new to town and they come on the first day of January to have their child attend the activity - if you only have a payment plan pricing option set up, you cannot register the participant for that current month because the system sees they've already missed the date required to register by/the payment plan offset date.
  • If you have a matching pricing option that is Non-Payment Plan, you would be able to enroll the customer in the current month using that Non-Payment Plan Pricing Option and could collect cash/check/card for that single month. 
  • You could then enroll them in the Payment Plan Pricing Option for future months if desired.

For Payment Plans:
  • Missed Day Credit is not a usable function on Payment Plan Pricing Options (Missed Day Credit is when you are providing a discount for weeks that may have exclusion dates, example Thanksgiving Week has two days off)
  • Required: Entering a Payment Start Offset Date - this will be the date that payments will be processed on the customer's credit card on file
  • Required: Registration Deadline - you must enter a date the customer must register by for that particular month, this deadline should be at least 1 Day before Payment Plan payment is scheduled to be deducted. 
  • Setting: Require Remaining Months (or weeks depending on Pricing Interval you chose) - if you require that customers sign up for the entire school year of the GAP Program, you will want to check the box on your pricing options that says "Require Remaining Months/Weeks." This will automatically add all remaining dates to the customer's cart and require they enroll in all of them in order to finalize registration
  • Disallow Purchase if Dates Missing: If you have multiple pricing options set up such as a Single Day choice and a Monthly Choice, having this box checked will prevent people from choosing the Monthly option in the event that certain dates of your activity are full as a result of Single Day Pricing Option registrations
